Instruction focuses on building strong basic skills, allowing riders to transition
easily into more advanced Dressage, Jumping and Cross-county training.  A
whole-horse approach to teaching helps riders more fully enjoy the time
spent with their mount each week and builds skills necessary for those
looking to compete and care for their own horse.  Lessons are available on
your horse or ours--please remember to allow extra time before and after
your ride to care for your horse.

• All lesson students must wear properly fitted ASTM & SEI certified headgear at all times when mounted (about
  $40 for basic helmet).
  
• All students must have proper foot wear (paddock boots, or similar) when mounted; sturdy, closed toe shoes or
  boots are recommended when unmounted.
  
• Riding pants are not required, but it is recommended students wear comfortable, stretchy clothing.
  
• Payment for lesson is required at time of lesson.  Lesson packages must be arranged and paid for in advance of
  first lesson.
  
• 24 hours are required for cancellations or student will be charged for the missed lesson.
  
• Only 2 make-up lessons are allowed for students cancelling (with 24 hour notice) prepaid package lessons.
  
• Students must be on time and ready to ride at their assigned lesson time.  Lessons will start on schedule--if a
  student is not ready, they will have a shortened lesson.
  
• Grooming/tacking up will be included in the lesson until the student (or parent, if needed) can prepare the horse
  on their own and present at the arena at the scheduled start time.  Allow about 20 minutes to groom/tack.
  
• Grooming/tacking up services are available at $15 per ride.
  
• Riders are responsible for cooling out, untacking and grooming their mount after their ride.  Allow about 15-20
  minutes depending on weather conditions.
  
• Untacking/grooming service are available at $10 per ride (rider must cool out horse).
  
• No restroom facilities are available at this time, so please plan accordingly.
